D: Chinese noodles w. fish balls, yu(2) ban(3), fish that my mom gave me (previously fried in some green-ish batter), seasoning, bean sprouts (large)

Dessert: Thanks to Leinah I had pineapple pudding :)! :)!

Later lunch: 1 piece of Oroweat(R) multigrain toast, w. peanut butter and banana slices. A small bowl of leftover seafood fried rice.

Pre-dinner: 1/2 banana

D: Avocado and cucumber sushi w. soy sauce
It is very important to use freshly cooked sticky rice in making sushi. Do not use previously refrigerated rice.

D: Spinach w. garlic, sauteed

(see http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/10/dining/10mini.html, I used this recipe, but neglected many of the ingredients that I didn't have.) I probably won't use it again, because the taste of OJ was too strong for me. However, he does recommend soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, etc., as alternatives, so I may try that.

BBQ Chicken thighs marinated in soy sauce and garlic (1 hour), covered with Honey Garlic BBQ sauce, and baked at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes. Perfectt!



Dessert: Oatmeal cookies (with the occasional chocolate chip)

Strawberry cake w. strawberry + whipped cream filling and whipped cream and decorative icing. Plus real strawberries on the sides and top of the cake. Add in Neopolitan ice cream. Yum!

Yes, I helped make/made both of these! :-) Much love to the birthday boy and girl ;-D

1 orange roughy fillet* ($2.10, on sale) w. garlic, cooked and simmered in a combination of water, rice vinegar, soy sauce, salt. Added a touch of sesame oil at the end.

broccoli and carrots, stir-fry/steamed, seasoned with garlic salt and salt;

ma(2) po(2) tofu dish with ground beef and tofu w. Hot Bean Sauce;

and last but not least eggs
(not scrambled, because I didn't mix it) w. garlic salt.
