Friday September 7, 2007

B: 1 banana

L: 2 Hebrew National(R) hot dogs w. Ball Park(R) hot dog buns, toasted + ketchup

F: 1/2 tomato
I was cooking, and had half a tomato left over. I was hungry, cooking but doing no eating. So down it went!

D: Today was another "cook in bulk day." I made two entrees, spaghetti, and soup.
Specifically, I made:

Fried tofu w. Chinese mushroom (sliced), ground beef, and scallion. Seasoned with soy sauce and salt.

Napa cabbage, sliced, with dried shrimp. I was very happy that my estimate of vegetable to shrimp matched nicely!

Angel hair pasta w. ground beef (mixed with soy sauce and salt), diced tomato, diced onion, garlic, and ketchup to taste. I LOVED this. It reminded me of mom :)

"Cucumber" substitute and egg drop soup, w. scallion. Seasoned with salt, garlic salt, and black pepper. The only thing was I forgot to peel the cucumber skin. But it's just a little rougher, still OK.

The second-to-last-dish, spaghetti (albeit Chinese style spaghetti), was my dinner. I had soup afterwards.
The rest goes in the refrigerator for a later time.

Here's a picture of my dinner:
